Get away from this Doctor, he is frustrated and is not patient. He does not take the time to listen to his patients once he feels there’s nothing that can be done. If he’s ever had passion for his work, it did NOT leave a trace. He needs a vacation because he seemed frustrated with simple questions about what I can do next with a breast lump.

Horrible surgeon run fast

My husband had his gall bladder removed. Initially I was nervous since my husband is a big guy and I didn't know if the laparoscopic would work. The operation was successful, with only a few tiny scars. Throughout the visits, Dr. Takei was confident, professional and friendly. He answered all our questions and explained it thoroughly. When the operation was over, he immediately came to the waiting room and told me he was good to did well. My husband recuperated quickly.

He saved my life after an emergency surgery for an appendectomy, only 2 hours after my arrival at the community hospital in Parkview. He treated me efficiently and performed an impeccable operation, due to its complexity since my appendix had already exploded , and generated a gangrene. I really thank the doctor, and his blessed hands.

Dr.Takei is awesome he did my breast Biopsy and tissue surgery removal and he was very nice and has great best side manner made feel safe and comfortable with everything and explain everything very thoroughly ...

Dr. Takai was very informative and took time to answer all my questions and even let me record the procedure and explanation of my results so my nurse daughter could be informed. I am happy with Dr. Takai and his office staff. Never waited more than 5 minutes.

He was extremely rude to myself and my parents when explaining my procedure just before going into surgery. He was just as rude for my follow-up appointment. Talks to you and leaves as quickly as possible. He scowls at you when you ask questions, as if you're an annoyance to him. He talks to you in a condescending "I don't wan to be here/lets get this over with/I'm too smart for you" sort of way. Seems like one of those surgeons who will talk badly of you when you are put to sleep. He did alright with my surgery, but I wouldn't trust him again due to his "no care attitude".

Excellent doctor! I am scared to death of doctors so to find out I needed surgery terrified me! I had been dealing with my problem for 2 years before I was finally sent to see him and he understood my frustration. He explained the surgery to me, best and worst case scenarios and recovery. I needed another procedure before the surgery and he made a phone call to make sure I got into the other doctor for the procedure immediately. Once that was taken care of he got the ball rolling on my labs and pre-op asap! The day of the surgery Dr. Takei and his team made me feel at ease. They took excellent care of me before and after surgery. I really couldn't have asked for a better doctor. My last appointment with him for my post-op left me feeling sad that I would no longer have him as my doctor to take care of me. I would recommend him to anyone.
