He did a great job on my neck surgery.

He injured my spine during surgery, then blamed the injury on my activity after the surgery. He gave me a blood transfusion which I did not need, & I had a pool of some fluid in my spine which successfully blocked the view on the post MRI, making diagnosis of the surgical injury impossible to define. He should not be practicing surgery.

After many complaints of pain following a multi level fusion he then fused a bulging disc in place!! I had to go to UC Davis after still being told nothing was wrong to finally find out what he did! Had to have another surgery to fix what he did to me!! He has a God complex!! Doesn't listen to you after surgery!!

had been in extreme pain from (lumbar spine ) had a 3 level fusion 11 yrs. earlier started getting leg drop was looking for a new M.D. mine stopped doing workers comp saw about 5 ...not impressed. DR. ball had x-ray taken he found I had broken a lumbar vertebrae and bent a screw the tip was right next to the spinal canal. it's not a stretch to say because of DR. Heiu Ball I'm walking.

He is the best doctor I've ever had for my back

Dr. Ball and his staff are some of the nicest people I have ever met...especially Shannon and the Lady who does the X-rays. Dr. Ball is one of the BEST Dr's I have ever had the pleasure in working with. He is a very nice person and really shows that he cares about his patients. When I had my neck surgery I felt very comfortable with him and his assistant. I would totally recommend him to anyone. I GIVE HIM A 10!

I went to Dr. Ball because my primary care doctor felt that he is the best spine specialist in the area. He has an excellent reputation nationally, and teaches other surgeons on special techniques of minimally invasive fusions. He also is the best choice for artificial disk replacement. My own doctor went to Dr. Ball for his operation and is back to work full time. He is very caring and has "excellent hands" according to all the doctors and physical therapists who know he is my doctor. My surgery was done a couple months ago, and I'm doing great. He has a great office staff, too.

Dr Ball did a cervical lumbar fusion on me. During both surgeries, he cut into my spinal sac. When he cut into the spinal sac during the cervical fusion, I had the symtoms in the hospital, yet without telling me or family members, he released me from the hospital on a Friday. After a horrible weekend, he had to take me into surgery the following Tuesday and patch the tear and redo the surgery. This same error during my lumbar surgery has left me unable to walk due to permenant nerve damage in my left leg. He should not be allowed to do surgeries.

Dr. Ball took over my problem after another spine surgeon did a surgery that failed. I saw four other spine surgeons who kept me waiting for over two hours each on average, then spent less than 7 minutes on average to talk to me. No one knew what to do until Dr. Ball took the time to talk to me and diagnose my problem. We did the surgery, and I'm now feeling better for the first time in 5 years. I can sleep through the night again, walk for exercise with my husband, and am working again. If he keeps you waiting in the office, it's because he spends as much time as necessary with each patient. He is polite and respectful. The surgery he did took half the time of the first surgery by the other doctor, and he actually fixed my problem. What more could you want in a doctor?

If you are going to have surgery on your back, Dr. Ball is a phenomenal choice. He has the best training you can get and is dual fellowship trained. He is a really nice guy too. I recommend him if you are looking for a referral.
