Dr. Hilary Koprowski, MD

I visited the office of Dr Koprowski at LVPG Ear, Nose and Throat. As part of that 15 minute visit, I had less than a 2 minute procedure performed where a camera looked up my nose. I was not informed that this might be an expensive procedure or asked if I wanted it. I was not even told it would be charged separately from the office visit co-pay. It literally was 'ok I am going to use a camera to look in your nose'. In addition, if he had listened to my description of the problem I believe this procedure would not have been necessary. This 'procedure' was billed to my health insurer for over $800. And my portion is over $400. I have tried to discuss this with the staff at the facility but they won't budge.

My complaints about my ear were ignored and I was told to let him do his job, he was the doctor. He did not do his job and I have a serious issue that I am now going to Jefferson in Phila for surgery. It's not good and it could of been a lot less of an issue if I was paid attention to, he may be the doctor but I am the patient that has the issue. I felt he was conceited in his ability that he doesn't even have, Any ent dr should of been able to figure this out based on my complaints.

He takes his time and listens to you. We discussed a plan of treatment which worked out fine. I no longer am suffering from those symptoms. He truly cares about his patients.
