Dr. Hilda M Degaetano, DO

this was the worst experience for my child. dr. degaetano was not our primary pediatrician but my 6 year old was having severe ear aches and our pediatrican couldn't see us right away. we called this office and were VERY HESITANTLY given an appointment. when we got to the office, we had to wait for an hour and a half before we were finally taken into the room and another 20 minutes IN the room. at this point, my daughter was in SEVERE pain. when dr. degaetano finally did come in the room, she was very short with us, rude and barely GLANCED at my daughter. we explained our situation and dr. degaetano just wrote us a perscription. she didn't ask any questions or do a physical exam. she left the room without saying goodbye. we filled the perscription which turned out to be PENICCILN which my daughter is allergic to. thankfully, the pharmacist noticed this. i didn't know the brand name of the antibiotic and figured that the dr had seen that my daughter was allergic on her chart and not… perscribe penicillin. overall, a horrible, stressful experience. would NEVER see this doctor ever again.
