Dr. Hastening operated on my elbow. It has been 10 years now My elbow is solid. He did a massive Clean up with the possibility of a Rebuild. Surgery went smooth as silk, post opt. the same with very Little therapy involved. Very good And thorough and just a great guy. 5 star without a doubt. Back in 2007 I was in a serious car accident. I was driving home after getting off work at night after a major snowfall made the Michigan country roads difficult to navigate in the countryside that night. As I passed several homes and entered an open area by a farmer's field, the wind caught my car, spun it around, and slammed it into a large oak tree. Most of my injuries were moderate, but my left wrist was badly damaged and useless. As a professional violinist and also a guitar instructor, this was a major catastrophe for my career. My insurance company approved treatments with a specialist in hand surgery in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Hastings kept in touch with me between trips from Michigan to Indianapolis and back, and guided me through the procedures needed to replace my mangled wrist bone with a titanium bone. He also kept in touch during the healing process of physical therapy administered by a physical therapist near my home town that had been a student of… his. During the long path of recovery to regain the full use of my wrist, Dr. Hastings kept in touch. Today, years later, I am still playing the violin professionally, teaching and performing with the guitar, and amazingly, have also competed successfully in international ballroom dance competitions which require great flexibility of the arms and wrists. Although it has been twelve years since the car accident, I still consider myself truly blessed that Dr. Hastings came into my life at a crucial time, sharing both his friendship and his knowledgeable medical skills that gave me a positive future. And for that I am giving him twelve stars, one for each year so far. Thanks, Dr. Hastings. You're the best!

Dr. Hill Hastings was the answer to my prayers. After another orthopedic doctor removed a bone spur that was pressing on my rotator cuff, the tip of my acromium fractured. This same doctor and his colleagues told me that they couldn't do anything to repair the fracture that they had caused by removing too much bone...I would have to live with it and take pain medication. Dr. Hastings viewed that answer as unacceptable. He and his team took on the challenge and came up with a plan. After wires to pull together an inch of separation, locking screws, bands, a plate and a bone graft, 6 months in a sling, and my hours of physical therapy, my shoulder is not only repaired, but I'm back to playing golf and doing water aerobics 3 times a week, and most importantly....pain free. Dr. Hastings is a soft spoken, kind man to boot. Takes his time to explain everything and genuinely cares for his patients. I can't say enough about him. Thank you Dr. Hastings!

what can i say about this nice man. Hes a Genius for one..... my arm was weird..... one bone longer than the other. and i really wish i could have gotten a picture with this man. as a keepsake.....
