Dr. Holly Susan Salem, DO

I went to Dr. Salem because of the good reviews, which know I don't know how her reviews are good in the first place. I left feeling very disappointed with our first meeting. I don't know where to start, So I guess I will start at the beginning of my timeline. I waited for over 40 minutes in the room just to see her, I felt like she was rushing me and was not knowledgeable about the problems that I was seeing her for. Rather than saying she did not know, she made up bogus medical advise. Then when I got my complete blood count results in she told me everything looked great but I pointed out that my bilirubin was marked as high, so she suggested I test again. After I tested again, she called and left a message for me to call her back with the results, I called her back within 30 minutes, couldn't get a hold of her. Two weeks later and after several attempts of me trying to contact her it was not until I got a hold of her supervisor that I was finally able to receive a phone call back.… She didn't even bother leaving the results with the nurses to read to me. Low and behold my bilirubin came back high still, so she wants me to get a CT scan and send me to a gastrologist for further review as well as test again. She also just noticed that when I tested my bilirubin a year and a half ago it was high then as well. Mind you, it was not until I brought up the fact that my bilirubin was high was there attention to it because she was going to send me on my way until I mentioned it. I went to again re test my blood and its been 3 weeks and the dr STILL has not updated my results. I have just left another message with her supervisor because she has still not returned my phone call once again after a week and a half. Needless to say I will be looking for a new dr altogether.

She sees my entire family and is so caring. I have never felt so secure with a doctor ever. It makes my life so much easier having someone who cares in my corner

I have been a patient of Dr. Salem for the last 10 years. She was originally my Mothers doctor and I met her by taking my mom for her doctor appointments. I have always been impressed with Dr. Salem and the way she handled my mothers medical problems, so successfully, I decided to change her for my own primary. She is very thorough, follows through with appointments and keeps me I informed with results for all testing's. I cannot praise her enough for caring for Mom and myself and keeping us both healthy.

Wasted my time for 4 month. She gave my kids 3 month, ahead appointment for check up . After 3 month, one day before appointment, she cancel my kids appointments. She claims, she doesn't accept new patients. Where were your brain 3-4 month ago, when you expected my kids. You are a worthless, thats all, I can say.

My mother hates going to the doctor but is always happy to see Dr. Holly Salem. Dr. Salem always greets my mother with a beautiful smile and a warm welcome

Doctor Salem is always kind and friendly. She listens to everything I say and spends as much time as needed with me. I have seen her about 5 times over the past year and she is always professional and takes good care of my healthcare needs. I have never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes to see her. Wonderful Doctor!
