Bashing a mother for breastfeeding her child is horrible. As a doctor he should know is recommended to breastfeed to 2. Very unsatisfied.

Breastfeeding is recommended by the World Health Organization to two years or beyond--it's the perfect source of nutrition for infants and toddlers and as someone in the field of child development I am absolutely appalled that a "medical professional" (using that term lightly as you are clearly NOT a professional in any sense of the word) would shame and lecture a mother for nursing her child. You give your colleagues a bad name. If you cannot be bothered to keep up with research and best practices then do everyone a favor and get out of this field. You are doing real damage to the health of children by spreading lies and misinformation.

This doctor needs to be reminded that the WHO recommends breastfeeding for two years. Breastfeeding provides many benefits to a child.

This man does not support women or their breastfeeding relationships with their children. He is vulgar, inconsiderate, ignorant, impolite, and completely disassociated with medical facts about extended breastfeeding health benefits for both children and mothers. This Dr. should not be aloud to treat patients until he has been properly educated on breastfeeding and reviewed on his manners and ignorance. Shame on him.

The wait time may seem excessive until you understand that this doctor never makes you feel that you are taking up his time. He spends as much time with you as you need him to spend, answers all questions and is never threatened by patients who want to know about their care of treatment.
