I rarely write reviews unless an experience is either truly exceptional or genuinely concerning. In this case, I feel it’s important to share what happened so other women can make an informed decision. I was unexpectedly terminated as a patient while 8 weeks pregnant, with no explanation and no prior notice. I called to confirm my appointment in afternoon and was casually informed that my appointment had been canceled and account “terminated”. When I asked for the date letter was sent out I was told it's today as in same day when I was due to come in for my check up. This meant I had no opportunity to receive notice before being dropped as a patient. According to guidance from the Medical Board of California and physician risk management organizations such as CAP Physicians, doctors are expected to provide advance written notice and allow reasonable time for patients to secure continued care—especially when ongoing treatment is needed—in order to avoid patient abandonment.… Unfortunately, this standard was not followed in my case. Being left without a provider during early pregnancy is extremely stressful and unsettling. Patients deserve clear communication and continuity of care, particularly during a medically sensitive time. I do want to note that the office staff I spoke with were kind and professional, and this review is not directed at them. During visits, I also witnessed unprofessional behavior, including hearing her raise her voice at staff. After reading similar concerns in other reviews, I can say those experiences aligned with what I personally observed. In appointments, she often felt dismissive and rushed. If you didn’t ask very specific questions, important information was not volunteered—even when there were concerns. When she first took over the practice from my previous doctor, she dismissed a lump I had without meaningful discussion, which left me uneasy. Charging over $350 per visit while providing this level of care and communication is deeply disappointing. This review is not written out of anger or spite. I simply believe other women—especially expecting mothers—should be aware so they are not caught off guard the way I was. Professionalism, transparency, and compassionate care are essential in medicine, and unfortunately, my experience did not reflect those standards

She only cares about money. She charges you to find out your test results. Greedy and she’s rude.

I honestly don’t think that 5 stars are enough, Dr. Milestone deserves 10! She delivered my youngest son and did an amazing job talking me through the whole delivery. She has great bedside manner and I wish I could have her deliver all of my future children. She is such a sweet, sweet soul! Highly recommend!
