Dr. Hoshedar P Tamboli, MD

I went to Dr Tamboli. at the suggestion of my primary care provider. I have a long and complex cardiac history so I was very happy to get the referral. He suggested that I needed my pacemaker defibrillator interrogated which I did. And also that I needed a courier ultrasound which I also had done in his office. As I walked in the house from that ultrasound appointment my phone was ringing it was his office telling me he was very concerned and wanted me to come back in the next day to talk to him about my results. My husband and I did go back in and he showed us my ultrasound and said I needed a heart catheterization right away. He said his staff would schedule the procedure and get right back to me. That was six weeks ago! I’ve called numerous times,as has my husband! It is always the same story “Emily does the scheduling she’ll have to call you back”and no one ever does! He may be very well credentialed and have experience, but his staff are incredibly incompetent and that speaks… volumes about him.

Dr. Tamboli is an excellent, knowledgeable and compassionate Cardiologist. A few years back he saved my life by diagnosing my long un-diagnosed problem with a pacemaker. We recommend Dr. Tamboli to all for their cardiologist needs

Dr Tamboli was great! he has a great sense of humor and makes you feel comfortable and at ease at your appt.

One of the rudest people I’ve ever had the displeasure of speaking with. He has the absolute inability to listen and subsequently comprehend and I suspect he lacks any critical thinking. He certainly demonstrates a lack of social skills. Consider yourself warned!

I have been to 5 doctors in the last 2 months and Dr. Tamboli is the most noncaring physician I have EVER been to. He did not want to listen I had to say, just read the findings from a recent heart monitor I had to wear. When he told me I had 1 (one) A-Fib and could I explain it, I remembered the evening and he wouldn't listen just came to his own conclusion and now I have to see another Doctor and added a new med. Brought me to tears when I couldn't remember a minor detail of a surgery from 2002, yes 17 1/2 years ago and he had the report right in front of him. Talked more with his young assistant then directing any questions to me and she repeated everything to me multiple times like I was a 5 year old. NEVER have I been treated like that. I do need to return to their office but I will be requesting another physician in the office. Wasn't given a chance to ask any questions, laughed about one of the doctors I'm seeing for something else with his assistant. He checked my… lungs when I asked his thoughts he didn't answer and just walked out of the room. I could go on because alot more insulting things happened in my 15 minute appt but I'll stop here.

He has a God complex. Very arrogant when trying to explain a possible difficult diagnosis that can effect the heart and needing to jump through all the hoops to rule out cardiac damage. He was not interested in investigating anything further, however, very quick to get me out the door. I hope I'm never in a situation where I have to see him again.
