Dr. Houssam Al Kharrat is one of the best. He never gives up. You know you are in good hands with Dr. Kharrat. Lubbock is very lucky to have a doctor of his quality. Even another doctor told me that.

There are no words to describe this considerate and thorough doctor. He truly cares about your health and your time. My endoscopy took a total of 90 minutes from entrance to exit. I trust him with my life.

Dr. Kharrat found my problem when 3 other gastroogists could not. Very caring and nice. His assistant is also very efficient. We are very lucky to have a doctor with his expertise.

Horrible experience, radiologist found lesion on my liver and fatty liver disease. Waited six weeks in pain for appointment. Waited two hours and nurse Practitioner came in with a rude bedside manner. He was uncaring and didn’t listen to a word I said. I felt like he was pushing his own diagnoses. I left crying without ever seeing the doctor because I wasn’t going to have a colonoscopy, endoscopy, or gallbladder removal for them to finally address my liver issues. Will never go back.

Does lots of tests but has no time to go over results. I was very I'll and he didn't seemed concerned. If you like to see Nurse Practitioner, this is your doctor. A friend warned me. But I wasted a year.

Found what others couldn’t find

Good guy, I had seen 7 other gastroenterologists before kharat. He is the only physician who could do FMT for my recurrent c diff. Thorough smart guy who knows what he is doing

He was illmannered and seems to be in a hurry.does not call you about the test results,I have been waiting for 3 weeks and my test results are sitting on his desk.I will not recommend this Dr kharrat to my family and friends.

Lots of time waiting in the wait room, then again in the private room for the prep visit and again in the review visit. I learned absolutely nothing in either--I would have preferred that he just did the procedure. When he did see me for the pre and post visits, he spent only a few minutes with me and asked me what questions I had--no review of what to expect, what he found, nothing. Just the co-payments and waiting. I do think he knew what he was doing in my case, and he took care of what was needed, so I think he is very competent in his field.
