He put me on antibiotics for jock itch. When it didn't clear up, he said he thought it was all in my head, and I never had jock itch in the first place, even though he was the once who originally diagnosed the condition. And then I later found out antibiotics don't treat jock itch; they can actually make it worse.

I had a staph infection, and Dr. Pride put me on an antibiotic for a month. At the end of the month, the infection came back, so he put me on the same antibiotic for two months. When it returned again, I called to make an appointment, but he wasn't there that day. Another doctor gave me a prescription over the phone for a different antibiotic to take for a week which cleared up my staph infection for good. I don't understand why Dr. Pride couldn't have simply given me that antibiotic earlier, and I could've avoided all the side effects of being on antibiotics for three months.
