Dr. Husam Bakdash

I'm 72 years old. I've been seeing Dr. Bakdash for awhile to treat long ignored high blood pressure and high cholesterol and irregular heartbeat. It appears we have it all under control now. Dr. Bakdash put a Loop Recorder in my chest, adjusted my meds, got me through a shoulder replacement, verified that the circulation in my legs was normal and helped me get through an Ablation to an irregularity in my heart. He listens, clearly explains suggested treatments and is readily available (returned my late phone calls a couple of times). I can't say enough good about him. 5 stars for sure.

I switched from another cardiologist, and am satisfied with Dr. Bakdash. He doesn't overwhelm me with more info than I can retain, but if I ask a specific question, he does a great job of explaining. I've got a "unique" medical situation, and he isn't afraid to consult with his partners to get their input. No doctor is perfect, but I believe he really gives 100% to each patient. (We like him so well, my husband also switched to him for his cardiologist.)

Not the place to go for a second opinion. Will follow status quo/politics. Over all would go to someone else within group or a different group.
