Dr. Ilana Fortgang, MD

DR. FORTGANG IS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! THE WHOLE EXPERIANCE WAS BAD ! SHE DID NOT EVEN DO AN EXAM ON MY SON . TALKED BAD ABOUT OTHER DOCTORS WE HAVE SEEN BEFORE . WOULD NOT LISTEN KEPT TALKING OVER ME AND WAS NOT INTERESTED IN ANYTHING I HAD TO SAY . DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO THIS DOCTOR !!

This doctor really is the worst she is rude and assumes things with out back up. She scared me to death with all the could have beens what might happen. She does not listen or she just forgets. Made us wait 2 weeks to get testing done then another 2 weeks for answers and I still have no results or answers. My son has been in pain and I’ve called the office numerous amounts of times to only hear she has not yet reviewed his chart. Very sad!

She cares so much. She goes above and beyond!

Dr. Fortgang is my daughter's HERO! After being extremely sick for almost a year and visiting all of the hospitals and their ER's in the area, I became desperate when no one was able to help her. I called a few physicians I know and asked for referrals. I was expecting they would refer me out of the state to other specialized facilities, my husband and I were preparing to leave. Three of the physicians called me back referring Dr. Fortgang. They all said that she was amazing and current regarding treatments and research. I'm so glad that I reached to them because Dr. Fortgang diagnosed, treated my daughter, and now has her in remission! Dr. Fortgang went above and beyond including treating my daughter so that she was able to attend her seventh grade trip to Washington D.C., even after missing weeks of school. She even had physicians at the D.C. hospital prepped and ready to care for my daughter in case I would have to bring her to the hospital while on the trip. We are so thankful to… her! She has not only changed my daughter's life, but has inspired her so much that she wants to continue school to practice medicine just like Dr. Fortgang. She is my daughter's angel and has been truly a blessing to our family!

We have seen Dr. Fortgang for over 3 years now and she is fabulous. She's extremely educated and took the time to listen to our concerns. Her treatment plans worked wonders for us and we trust her opinion 100%. We have recommended multiple people to her and will continue to do so.

I was so relieved after our visit. Dr. Fortgang spent about an hour with us as we needed an immediate intervention. I was unable to get an appointment through the main office and she was able to work me in. We had to have an xray and other testing possiblly needing an adminssion. We were there way after 5. She left even after all her staff left to help me finalize plans and go home. She called me over the weekend to check on our progress. It was such a refreshing change from previous medical encounters. It's very hard when your child is sick and I knew we were in good hands as soon as we walked in. She was as attentive to my anxiety as she was to my son's. He liked her as well.

The worst experience I've ever had at any pediatric doctor my son has seen and he's seen over a dozen in his less than 2 years. She has no bedside manner and made assumptions about many things without asking.

This doctor should NOT work with children! Her demeanor is very rude and insulting. She never even looked at my child and dismissed everything that I told her. Thank goodness I took my child for a second opinion. To call her the Ice Queen is putting things mildly.

She never examined my child but then was very insulting and cold to me. She gave my child the wrong diagnosis as we later learned what was wrong with her, another doctor treated the problem. Stay away from this doctor.
