Dr. Ira Marc Epstein, DO

Had my 6 month appointment with Dr Epstein on 11/05/2024. The visit went well as it typically has for the past 18 years plus because of the care I have received fron Dr Epstein all these years. I first met Dr Epstein in May 2006 after being diagnosed FSGS. My condition was so bad that I had weekly visits to his office. Because of the mutiple medications I was on from different medical conditions, it was a challenge at first to find the right balance, but he told me that we would find that happy medium where the multitude of medications would not interefere with my kidney functions. He was able to do that and my renal functions are the best they have been since 2006. Throughout the years, he has continued to show that care and compassion for me, along with the countless other patients that I see come in and out of his office. He takes the time to answer your questions or concerns and breaks it down in a manner that is understandable. I am alive, healthy and well today because of… genuine care he has provided to me. I trust him wholeheartedly with my life (haha) and would want no one other than him providing my care. Thank you for all you do and I look forward to seeing you in 6 months!! Robert Goode

My mom was evacuated from Houston to Dallas after the hurricane Dr. Ebstein was the best doctor we have ever seen. Great bed side manner. He is very compassionate and caring. He gave us 3 more weeks with our mom when all of the other doctors were ready to give up Cant thank him enough .

He made me very uncomfortable in his touchy bedside manner. As a woman, I would suggest finding a more professional Doctor.

Dr. Epstein is one of, if not the best, doctor I have ever seen. I am so thankful to him for seeing me.

Dr. Ira spent all the time I needed to understand my condition, what I thougth I knew was corrected. He actually drew out the system and walked me thru it. Excellent manners and a sense of HUMOR.

He's the best. Brought me back from acute renal failure. Would recommend him to anyone who has kidney disease.

I can't recommend this guy highly enough. He is kind and funny and a remarkable physician. Lots of experience and he doesn't candy-coat anything. I've never felt so happy and perky leaving a Dr.'s office before. :DSeriously tho, he knows his stuff and has a fabulous personality.I wish it was easier to get in touch with his office staff though. I tend to get the answering service a lot. But I'm persistent so it's just mildly annoying. Once you get in, the staff is like family. Truly wonderful ladies!

Loved this man! I just saw him today for the first time. He made sure I understood everything and took IMMEDIATE action to get me the additional help I need. I have never left a doctors office so pleased. And the staff was friendly. I'd give him more stars if I could.

I've known Dr. Epstein for 20 years...I think he is one of the best diagnosticians I have ever met. A bit irreverant at times but always on top of things.
