Dr. Iraj Gafori, MD

In 2004 my gynecologist sent mt to Dr Gafori. At the time he was not in my insurance plan. When he told me I needed surgery I asked if he could refer me to someone in my plan.. He told me he would do the surgery for whatever my current insurance would pay. It was also getting close to the holidays and because he had so many surgeries scheduled and he didn't want me to wait, he scheduled mine for a Sunday morning. I was the only one having surgery that morning it was terrific. I truly owe my life to him. It is now 10 years later. I would still be going to him, if he hadn't retired.

he is a very good doctor. He is blunt and to the point.

Not an easy personality to deal with but does care about his patients. Calls it as he sees it. Don't expect to be babied but if you want the best outcome possible - he's your guy.

This Dr is rude and arrogant. Dr Gafori is on my health plan and he decided that because I didn't let him perform my surgery a couple of years ago, he would not see me as a patient. He told me this when I was in his examining room undressed with a paper sheet on me. I found him unprofessional and RUDE.
