After a very easy pregnancy, I went into my delivery expecting the same, but boy, were my husband and I in for the ride of our lives. My c-section went smoothly, with Dr. Georgiou running through everything with me prior to starting. This was a repeat c-section for me and my second child. I had no issues with my first delivery and expected the same. Almost immediately after delivery, I experienced heavy bleeding that wouldn't stop. I was rushed into emergency surgery to try and stop the bleed and woke up at the University of Maryland Baltimore Trauma Center 2 days later. Without the help of Dr. Georgiou and the amazing staff at Shady Grove Hospital, I would not be alive today. She worked tirelessly to stop my bleeding, guide my husband on medical decisions, and got me the care I needed at Shady Grove and UMMC. I and my family will be forever grateful to her and the team at Capital Women's Care and Shady Grove Hospital! I cannot recommend Dr. Georgiou enough. She is the best!

This doctor is so great! She delivered my baby and I felt good almost the next day! With my first one, who was delivered by a different doctor, I felt terrible for weeks. She is very caring and has a great bedside manner. I can’t compliment her enough! So happy she was the one who delivered my baby.

Dr. Georgiou is an outstanding doctor! Being very knowledgeable in the field, warmhearted, a great listener, and possessing a very calming energy are just some of the traits to describe Dr. Georgiou. I feel that my questions and concerns are always answered with thoroughness and never feel judged. Because of Dr. Georgiou's easygoing nature, I feel relaxed and feel that my needs as a patient are always met. I am very grateful to have Dr. Georgiou as my ob/gyn and I would highly recommend her!

Dr Giorgio is very knowledgeable, considerate, and caring. I have seen her for both OB and GYN. She helped me through some difficult procedures and never rushes my appointments. Highly recommend.
