Dr. Irene Amy Weiss, MD

I waited in the waiting room 1 1/2 hours for a 10 minute visit with Dr. Weiss. I consider that obscene

She has been my doctor for more than 10 yrs. She has helped me keep my Diabetes Type II under control. Her scheduling of appts. is right on. Usually wait 10 to 15 min.

Dr. Weiss was completely disinterested in my mother's diabetes and history. My brother told her that he adminsters her insulin and keeps a record of it. She said, "oh, that's good, keep doing it" - that was the extent of the visit. When visiting my mother in the hospital (for five seconds) I overheard her in the hallway telling her students, "he does everything, I don't have to do a thing". Not funny at all. Very disappointing behavior for a doctor.

the concern and follow up care of DR WEISS IS AWSOME, SHE CALLES ME, IT TOOK HER 2 WKS TO GET ME APPROVED FOR A DIABETIC INSULIN PUMP THAT MY PREVIOUS DR TRIED FOR 4 YRS TO GET. sHE HAS DONE MORE FOR ME IN 2MTHS THAN MY PREVIOUS ENDOCRINE DID FOR ME IN 10 YRS, BUT i DID ALSO LIKE HIM i JUST DIDNT KNOW ANY BETTER.

Office staff is disorganized and rude, follow-up and spending time explaining procedures/diagnosis poor. Otherwise a skilled physician. The staff RN is very kind and polite.
