If you want to stay alive, go to another doctor otherwise your health will be in danger. This doctor only conserns about your insurance and to get as much money from your insuranse as possible. She'll send you for many tests that you really don't need them, just to collect the money from your insurance as much as she could. She's not a doctor, she's a joke! Run before it will be too late!

I went to Dr. Berlin for an endoscopy and colonoscopy. Before the Colonoscopy procedure she prescribed me an antibiotic XIFAXAN because I had symptoms of bloating. I wasn't told how long I had to take them so I took the medicine for 10 days which was prescribed for thirty days. The receptionist called to give me my results of being negative which I was happy about, but offcourse no call from the doctor. I asked the receptionist if I should be continuing my medication because I started to get sores inside my mouth. The receptionist told me to continue my medication, and explained that the oral sores are not from the antibiotic which was completely unprofessional, because she is not a licensed medical professional to be giving medical advice. I asked her to have the doctor call me back. The doctor never called me back, I ended up calling her emergency line left a message with a live person explaining my symptoms. The live receptionist said that the doctor would call me back within an… hour. I never received a call back. I am displeased with the service because in person she was very pleasant, but not to call a patient back after 3 calls and one of them being an emergency page is completely unprofessional. I had to go to my regular physician to find out that I had a reaction to an antibiotic that he didn't understand why it was prescribed in the first place. He said I had good results and he didn't see a copy of the XIFAXAN prescription. Seems like she didn't want anyone to know I was prescribed the medication. I still have sores in my mouth and am taking another medication to treat it. A word of advice, call your patients back because they come to you for medical advice and can bring future referrals, and don't let your staff give medical advice when they aren't the doctor. All I wanted was a call back in regards to my symptoms. Thank You
