Dr. Irwin M. Grosman, MD

Had a colonoscopy and endoscopy done on the same day about six weeks ago. They took biopsies as well as they found issues. I have not seen the dr since despite endless attempst to schedule my follow up. I call multiple times a day and his receptionist never answers the phone. Instead some other doctor's receptionist takes a message for her. She has literally never called me back despite countless polite and friendly messages requesting she does so. Just want my results and never to have to deal with this office again.

Dr. Grosman has an awkward style of interacting, pretty clearly performing for his residents and not putting in full effort for your case. Not terribly attentive or knowledgeable. After two lengthy office appts, and a $6,000 colonoscopy/endoscopy (both clean), I asked [as he was trying to get me out the door], "Well, how do you explain the three episodes of bleeding I had." "Um, it could be hemorrhoids, an anal fissure, any number of things.." "Well, it was black, not red, so it had to be upper GI bleeding." "Oh. Right. Um, I really don't know." Needless to say, I had to move on to a different doctor.

Dr. Grosman has taken care of me and my family for years. He recently treated my 96 year old father who'd been complaining about stomach pain. Dr. Grosman diagnosed the problem and was able to treat it successfully. Dr. Grosman is a experienced professional with a wonderful sense of humor. He explains everything in terms a layman can understand and his follow up is excellent. He returns every phone call and is always accessible to his patients. He is the absolute best in his field and I recommend him highly.

Dr. Grosman is a warm caring doctor who really listens to you and takes the time to find out what's wrong. Never will rush you out of the office. Shows that he really cares about his patients!

Kind and caring, Dr. Grosman takes time to listen to your problems and try to get you well. He always explains things to you and makes sure you understand what's wrong. His staff is polite and professional, especially hs secretary Harriet. The office is clean and organized.
