Doctor Patel is friendly, caring and amazingly knowledgeable. He listens carefully and spends time with each patient. He makes a personal connection to each patient and remembers patients ongoing problems. He is one of those doctors that is not dependent on the lab tests and scans for every single problem. Most often, he makes diagnoses right there in the office and starts treatment. However, if he is in any doubt, he informs you and orders labs/scans. In our cases, the lab results have always confirmed his initial diagnosis. The staff is very friendly as well and respect patients time and they never overbook! So we always know that there is no or minimal wait time. Anytime I have needed Dr Patel, he has been accommodating, even when I had an emergency and showed up at the office closing time. That helps a lot with my constantly changing schedule. He takes blood tests in his office and sends the results by Email which saves tons of time in our busy life. If the lab results are not too… bad, he calls you to tell you (on the phone) to increase/decrease the dose of the medication or … He knows the list of medication that we use and write refills whenever our pharmacy contacts him. Dr Patel has been a great help to my family and we highly appreciate him. I recommend him to all my friends and I hope you will be lucky enough to call him when he accepts new patients.

Dr. Patel has been our family doctor for over 6 years. We have always been able to get a same day sick appointment and he runs on time. He doesn't spend a lot of time but he seems to have an uncanny ability to diagnose things quickly and correctly. We have had several odd injuries or illnesses that his diagnosis was spot on even though at the time I felt he hadn't asked enough to know what was wrong accurately. He writes a lot of prescriptions, although he keeps in mind cost too and will help with samples and alternatives. He also keeps a keen eye on nutrient levels like Vitamin D and Iron and will recommend supplements. If you aren't comfortable with that, he might not be the Dr for you.

My experience with this doctor was not satisfactory. I will never take my kids here ever. First of all, he misdiagnosed me. I was lucky enough to get a second opinion and stop taking his prescription, which made me sick! Then, he was asking me to bring my kids in for physical checkup. I don't trust him.

It was very easy to get an appointment and the office staff were very friendly. The wait time was less than 10 minutes and the office was well organised. The doctor was very professional and genuinely concerned. He answered all my questions and also followed up just within two days . The doctor called me up personally to discuss my lab results. I would recommend Dr. Patel !!!

Dr. Ish Patel (of Chandler, AZ) grossly misdiagnosed me, insulted me multiple times and overcharged me over the course of approximately 8 months.Here are the specifics:A. I came in because of ongoing chest pains and heart palpitations. The issue was so extreme that I left work at midday and rushed to see Dr. Patel. It was as if he didn't even care. He spent maybe 5 minutes with me and to my dismay and shock, he conveyed he thought my chest pains were due to acid reflux. Long story short, I ended up not accepting this diagnosis and requested follow up tests. The issue ended up being a genetic disorder that was driving my triglycerides north of 500 (a healthy individual should be below 100). B. My only sibling drank herself to death less than a year before I started seeing Ish Patel. It hurt. During my initial interview with Patel, I mentioned this incident when he asked about family history. I followed by making it crystal clear that I have a drink maybe once every two weeks and… don't even enjoy getting drunk. From then on, every time I would see him, he would ask me if I had been abusing alcohol, despite me repeatedly outlining that I am not an alcoholic. I found this extremely insensitive and insulting given the circumstances. C. He charged more for copay and then wouldn't credit or refund.
