Dr Nath is a caring doctor and is very good at what he does.

Internist referred n me to Dr Nath because of hiatal hernia issues with past Nissan Fundoplication. Dr Nath did a Upper GI and pathology, found Barrett's and several other issues but would not refer me to a surgeon for a repair. He replied "take Malloy am and pm And stated he saw no hernia? Did other tests for money only, was rude and staff kept my files I took for them to copy. He is not even a gastroenterologist. Will not ever go back.

D. Nath has treated our family for more than a dozen years. He is an excellent diagnostician and an internist that looks at the entire body and its systems that relate to each other such as control of outside fat to limit build up of fatty liver or future pre-diabetes condition. Tests that he recommends are potentially life-saving and needed

Horrible experience all around. I booked this appt for my disabled , adult son. It took weeks to get in for the appointment because the office is very unorganized. After waiting an hour and a half, in a small, old, dirty waiting room, they finally called my son back. The Dr finally came in, he turned his back to us. The visit went downhill from there. I can't go in to details about the personal info, but i do not recommend seeing this Dr if you use medical marijuana. He is clearly against it for any reason. Whether it be physical or emotional reasons. He was very judgmental, cold, uncaring, and condescending. They requested to see the medical marijuana card and photo copy it. Which we happily provided- but were still grilled about which Dr prescribed it and why. I have been working in healthcare for 25 years and have been a nurse for 23 of those years. This Dr is rude and out of touch with his patients and a large portion of society. I will not be taking my son… back to this Dr for the treatment he needs. I could say much more, but I'm trying to keep this professional.

He needlessly performed a colonoscopy on my 81 year old mother while she was in St. Petersburg GH. He would not communicate with me clearly to explain what he found and planned on doing a second needless procedure but I advocated for my mom and denied him the chance. He comes across as callous and just looking for ways to generate income. Stay away.

I went to Dr Nath for a ‘hemorrhoid’ I was having an issue with and wanted removed. He examined it and as soon as he realized my age he said “The age requirement for a colonoscopy just changed from 50 to 45 so you’ll need one”. I figured he wanted to make sure my ‘hemorrhoid’ wasn’t cancer before he removed it & the procedure is 100% covered by my insurance so I agreed. When I went, there were at least 10 patients lined up in beds for Dr Naths colonoscopy-palooza. I couldn’t believe it! He must have made $20,000 before lunch! When I woke up, I asked him again about removal of my ‘hemorrhoid’ and he then tells me it’s a skin tag, I will need to see a general surgeon to get it removed. I could NOT believe it! He got my insurance $ - that’s all he cared about.

My husband just got through with radiation treatments for cancer and we were told he should have a colonoscopy. He had one 6 months ago and the Doctor told me he had 3 polyps and one was right on the verge of cancer so he should have another one in 6 months. Scared me so bad. Something didn't feel right so I wanted to go for a second opinion. We did and when the doctor tried to pull up the written report there was none. He had another colonoscopy today and there were 7 polyps. Now I wonder if he didn't take them all out. I will discuss that with our new Doctor if that is a possibility. But I was also told he should have generated a written report so this Doctor could see it and we were told he never did that. This is not the proper way to do things so he appears to me to just do the minimum to get the money and keep you coming back. I would say be very aware and I would not trust him.

was not happy with seeing him at st Petersburg hospital. had me crying and very upset. the drs were not on same page. never again. will not see him again or not go to that hospital.

Dr. Nath is very personable and knowledgeable. His office staff on the other hand is a joke. No follow up or follow through. They were supposed to schedule the procedure and never called us and therefore I booked it. They also never followed up with the test results nor scheduling a follow up visit. We will be finding another dr's office.
