TBI patient who had reoccurring seizures for years. Dr Riggs worked to find appropriate dose / one that stopped seizure but let me have good quAlity of life!

In patient for weakness and nerve pain. I've never felt more unwelcome in my life. Never introduced himself, quickly ran the test without any explanations, and then talked down about me right outside the door to staff. I was humiliated and without answers.

Dr Riggs was always responsible , responsive & sympathetic to me. He never made me feel like I was "just being dramatic" or exaggerating my symptoms. He ordered numerous tests for me & even did an EEG on me himself & despite the total discomfort &fear I have with needles he was very sympathetic & patient & understanding. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field & I have no issues with his "bedside manner". I would much rather see a Physician who is extremely knowledgable &competent &takes me seriously &respects me than one who dismisses me .

This man would rub anyone the wrong way especially a sick vulnerable person. I would not ever go back to see him ever again
