My father was admitted to the Hialeah hospital due to back pain. The medical floor staff was incredibly friendly and professional. Dr. Jacob Cohen is not a doctor, He is the worst doctor I have ever met. He didn't want to meet my father because he was having problems with his health insurance . When I asked him why he had waited 72 hours to treat him, he told me why he didn't want to and that it was better to send him to another hospital. This doctor, if you can call him a doctor, only cares about money. I was not able to ask myself if I had the possibility of paying it.The bad thing is that because of doctors like him, this hospital continues to have a bad reputation.Please never meet with this doctor, he is useless and arrogant, because he knows that he is the only urologist in the entire hospital, he thinks he is a god. but he is not professional and a liar

Is there a way to write a minus star?. My God, going there was one of the worst experiences of my life. You have to be there by 5 a.m, because there's no appointments, they open at 7 a.m, but he came at whenever he pleased. In my nightmare of experience he was more than an hour late. Before he sees you they send you to the bathroom to get a urine sample. The bathroom is outside of the office and you'll have to open the door with a key that is hanging from a big wooden stick as if you were in a gas station. Believe me when I say that a gas station bathroom would be like the restroom at the Plaza Hotel compared to that place. The feces were clogging the only toilet so high that at 7 in the morning the floor was still flooded from the day before. The sample is supposed to be sterile, right?. But everything was soiled and wet, so no place to put your stuff, let's say papers, backpack or whatever. Then they'll mark your cup and put in a wet cardboard box that's on floor were the staff is… just trying to figure out who is next. In the time I was in the waiting room, 3 patients came in complaining about different issues, and I witnessed the disrespect and rudeness they were treated from the staff. ""This is not your country and in here you have to pay or go away", those were the exact words used by someone from inside. I was number one, so they took me to a filthy room to wait for HIM, my God I loved Doctor House, but when this guy came into the room thinking he was God, i realized that this is the real world. Not only he was late, very late, he was loudly speaking on the phone. Out of respect, i asked if he preferred English or Spanish to what he answered rudely, " You can speak Italian for what I care". For the first time in my life, a Doctor didn't look at the tests that were done a week before and send me to repeat them. He stayed away from me as if I was going to bite him or something. Not even care to examine my body. I've had a Shunt placed in my brain few weeks ago and when I asked if my pain could be due to that, his answer was " Who knows what they scrabbled in your brain?, That's why I have to go to the beginning" and he wrote for more test in the paper. Then he repeated " We have to get back to the beginning", as he handed the paper to the receptionist, and basically point me out. As i was walking out i realized how dirty his scrub was. Then i got the news about the next procedures, one of them was a cystoscopy that means he will have to go into my bladder through my urethra, as the receptionist explained, to check my prostate. Whatever happened to the good old finger up your butt?. No, this was almost surgery, then i realized that was a cash grab to get my insurance money. As the receptionist kept on writing orders, another 3 patients approached the window and were rejected rudely because they had the wrong kind of insurance. Needless to say... I won't go back. And i hope that someone read and learn from my experience. And truly hope that the other people who also reviewed could sue him for all the pain and suffering they endured. This is beyond the worst clinic i have ever taken my grandma to. They treat the Pt like they are beneath them, and the doctor has no manners at all. He did surgery on my grandma three times with no explanation and when we asked he flipped out.

This guy runs a factory of stone removal. He has you coming back again and again, with no explanation as to what's going on with you. He should be ashamed of himself. He's a maggot, wait till you see the way he runs his office. I don't reccommend him to my worst enemy. A sadist, troll of a person. Fills every bad, jewish stereotype. Over books Palmetto Single Day Surgery, has his patient's wait all day till he decides to get to you. A real shyster. Seek help elsewhere, you've been warned!

As a doctor and as a person it is not good, it treats the client badly, it does not respect the client, it does not like to follow up the patient, only what he likes is to charge. A patient pays to cure his ailments not to be treated badly. Very little medical knowledge, more inclined to the economic and not to the quality of life of the patient. Demonic.

Bad customer services, employees poorly presented and non professional, small office to attend lot of people..Bad medical relationship to patient..he doesn't report what's going on..I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOUR SERVICES..

Llevo un buen tiempo en tratamiento con el dr Cohen y en términos generales estoy satisfecha con su profesionalismo e interés por mi caso en particular. La semana pasada llegué siete minutos después de la 10 am, pues llevaba 15 minutos buscando Parqueadero en el edificio donde queda su consultorio.Las dos señoras que estaban en la reception me atendieron de manera muy ruda y me dijeron que el médico ya había salido y que regresará otro día. Una de ellas estaba comiendo maní y me hablaba enseñándome la comida y haciéndome sentir muy incómoda y desatendida, además ambas personas estaban tan mal presentadas que sentí una gran pena por el Dr Cohen, por quien siento mucho respeto, que tenga en la recepción de su consultorio personas tan poco profesionales, y mal aspectadas. Por esta razón decidí y no siendo este el primer contratiempo con dichas empleadas del dr Cohen, cambiar de médico Urologo y esperando no tener de nuevo que presenciar tan desagradable Escena. Not returning to this office you cant ask questions to the doctor to get results of several procedures done. Very difficult to call the office and the staff is very unprofessional very dissapointed

staff is very unprofessional and clueless. They have no clue of what they are doing.
