Dr. Jacob Marvin Wolf

He was rude and acted like I was putting him out by asking him questions.

Dr. Wolf listens carefully & notices small details. He is a general practitioner who does not always know 100% about specific conditions, but is quick to make a referral. The most important point is that he really listens and that is so rare in a DR. We love him! Unfortunately, we agree with the other comments about his staff/front desk. The nurses have made a couple mistakes, one that was not okay. Dr. Wolf called to personally apologize.

Dr Wolf has been a very good doctor but the staff he has working for him is an absolute nightmare. The woman working the front desk makes you feel worthless and put out when you have to work with her. It is very difficult to work with her on insurance issues. Though Wolf is a good doctor you should consider that most of your interactions are not with him but through the front desk.

Dr. Wolf is wonderful. His staff- not so much. The office manager is rude and promotes a sense of disrespect towards patients in this office. Appointments are difficult to make. Return calls impossible. You have to make multiple calls to get anyone to react. After 6 years I can not longer deal with it. I have quit care here. It is likely better to find a different office. I wish Dr. Wolf would too.

Dr. Wolf is wonderful but the office staff is HORRID! They are BOTH incompetent and rude as is the office manager- Marsha. I have called on Ohio Health to complain in the hopes they will resolve this issue... If they do not my next recourse is to find a new physician.

Dr. Wolf is extremely rude and unprofessional. He does not care about his patients and every interaction I have had with this man has been negative. The office staff is abrupt and unfriendly. I will not return to this practice.

Office Staff is completely non-sense and RUDE. Check out their Patient Enrollment Questions, They have added so many stupid questions which do not have anything to do with your Medical History or Life. They take benefit of your need for doctor and asks those non-sense question. Here is two non-sense questions, which I can not imagine doctor type professional would ask this questions to patients... (1) When you drive car, Do you wear seat belt? (What non-sense is this ? ) (2) Do you have Gun in your home? (Hello Doctor, Is this your business ?, mind your business and do not cross limit) When I filled out questionnaire, I skipped to answer this non-sense, privacy questions, but then doctor asked me this questions again when I was with doctor in the office and doctor was entering all data in their medical recording system. BEWARE: All this privacy related answers and data is recorded in their system, which can put you in trouble someday for any incident. Also, they are asking… patients to sign Financial Document and asking to acknowledge that, they received HIPPA Privacy Notice. But in fact, they are giving HIPPA Privacy Notice copy to patient, until patient asks. Plus, if patient asks, they are handing over one printed paper to patient, which do not any stamps or sign that this document has given by this documents office. Very Poor Management and Rude Customer Service. After this exprience, we decied to switch the Doctors Office.. This is not a Doctors Office, This is "Business"

The office staff and nurses at Powell Family Medicine are rude, short, and do not care. They treat patients like they are children and have never offered a resolution. I have had numerous issues but most recently a prescription was sent to my pharmacy incorrectly. It has taken over a week to try and get it corrected and it still isn't. Not once has the nursing staff, who took the message, apologized for their error. They need to realize that you are the customer and you are most likely calling because you are sick. Being rude certainly doesn't help. They are the stereotypical rude office personnel and the care you receive is not worth the grief that they dish out. PCPs are a dime a dozen.

I have been going to Dr. Wolf for a few years and now have my 12 year old twins going. Dr. Wolf and staff are great....they are friendly and wonderful with my kids...especially during shots! Dr. Wolf is very open, honest and caring. He listens to your needs, spends the time to really understand, at every appointment. I have never waited for more than 10 minutes. I highly recommend Dr. Wolf...thank you!

This Doctor is great but the office staff is TERRIBLE. They are so rude for no reason and always in a bad mood. I was once hung up on by one of the girls who checks you in for appointments. I am switching offices just because of how EXTREMELY RUDE and unfriendly the office staff there is. I would NOT reccommend!
