Dr. Jacqueline Russiano Miles, PhD

I called Dr. Miles today and was just trying to see if the interaction I had was a coincidence, but other reviews contained the almost similar conversation I had with her. She initally said: Ok, what insurance to you have. I told her Health Net, and she said "sorry, I don't take it, good luck finding another therapist". I said, we also have Blue Cross. She said, okay make sure it's Anthem Blue Cross, and then call me again. I won't call her!

Reaching out to find a therapist and the first thing she asks is "what insurance do you have?", after I tell her she replies "oh, I'm booked, good luck in finding a therapist". I was referred and the company would pay but because I didn't get a chance to say that she cut me off. Money is her only importance not the mental health of people. What a shame.

I called today to seek help and the first thing she asked was what insurance I had. Didnt even find out why I was seeking help. She then preceded to tell me that my HMO insurance doesnt pay enough. This tells me she isnt passionate about really helping people if she is only concerned about being paid enough. I would have even been willing to cover out of pocket but she was so abrupt to dismiss me. These are reason why people dont seek mental health because it seems like therapist only care about making big money instead of helping people.
