Dr. Jaquelline Perlman, MD

Great doctor in my case seeing her thru the years she is very old school in her way's. Which was no problems for me. She took a leave absence hope she comes soon!

She is tactless and unprofessional and has no common sense regarding patient privacy and concerns. She has the worst bedside manner, asks irrelevant questions and performs unnecessary procedures. A usual exam would take a normal doctor 15 minutes but she purposefully keeps you there for an hour.

Dr. Perlman put me through a painful, traumatic, and (according to the second opinion from another doctor) unnecessary procedure, then told me I needed an invasive and serious surgery immediately, and that I had two unpleasant options available (cryotherapy and electrotherapy). She downplayed the side effects of each treatment and joked that if I am a jumpy person she might accidentally cut through my bladder with the electrotherapy. I wasnâ??t laughing. Dr. Perlman consistently took 3-5 weeks to deliver sensitive test results, which she will only do via an odd answering service mailbox system. Once she promised to have results before a holiday, but she went away and did not contact me until weeks later. Dr. Perlman wonâ??t answer any questions on the phone. Instead she leaves a message saying, "Just come by the office and I'll explain it to you." Then she charges $125.00 for a 3-minute conversation in the office. I got a second opinion from another doctor who said the test results… were not as Dr. Perlman had stated and that I did not need surgery and instead suggested adding folic acid to my diet, exercising and eating healthy. I already ate a vegan diet, so I cut out sugar and processed foods, and 3 months later I tested 100 percent healthy. Also, every time I showed up for a scheduled appointment (on time), I still had to wait 45 minutes to an hour even when no other patients were in sight. Most recently, Dr. Perlman failed to send a claim to my insurance company within the allowed 120- day window. When my insurance rejected the claim for being so late, Dr. Perlman tried to get me to pay the full cost of the procedure, and then threatened me with a collections agency, even though neither patient nor insurance company is responsible for the bill if the doctor fails to submit the claim.

I never had a problem with Dr. Perlman - her staff is a mess though. After trying to get a prescription filled in time for an upcoming vacation (well in advance), I was repeatedly put on hold, told that they could only contact the doctor for "real emergencies", and ultimately told me there was nothing they could do. I'll never go back.

I was looking for a female gyn and made an appointment with Dr Perlman. Im so happy, she was very attentive, she took a time to explain me everything. Also she speaks a little bit of my language. That is great.

Horrible staff. No manners. Disrespectful.

Scheduling Appt is easy. Dr. Perlman has great bedside manner. Dr. Perlman gives you individual attention, explains issues and answers questions. Dr. Perlman provides follow up after visit for all tests or procedures taken.

My main complaint has to do with the way this doctor delivers test results. It takes up to 30 days for patients to hear back about simple exams. She dictates the results into an automated phone system. It is very complicated to follow up with any questions.

Doesn't matter how good the doctor is if her staff is incompetent and disrespectful and fires up collection services on bills you have already paid. Considering her reputation as a doctor you would think she runs her office a notch above the fly-by-night operation they are. If you enjoy getting yelled at, go for it!

Very good caring doctor, takes time with patiences compassionate and understanding.Office staff need re-training or to be changed.No common sense! Rude!
