Dr. Jaffar Ali Raza, MD

Was being treated by Dr. Jaffar Raza who put me on blood preasure medication to treat high blood pressure. My pressure dropped to low and I almost fainted on more than one occasion. I called his office twice to let them know what happened and to see if my dosage could be changed or changed to a different medication. I never got a call back so I stopped taking the meds and scheduled appt to see him. During said appt. he barely acknowledged my existence. He was on his cell phone during my entire visit with him. (Yes you read that correctly on his cell phone while in the exam room with me). When he finally hung up he turns to me and says well if you stopped taking it just dont take it anymore I'll see you in a year. I am now being treated by a different cardiologist who could not believe this happened to me he said my blood pressure was so high I was in danger of having a stroke. Had I not gotten a second opinion I could have died or ended up a vegatable thanks to his negligance.… If you are thinking of seeing him do yourself a big favor and don't!!!!!!!!!!

Firstly, this doctor is awful. Do not waste your time or risk your life by going to this incompetent physician. Side note; I've never heard of the "university" that he apparently graduated from. He DOESN'T listen to patients or their symptoms. He's rude, cocky and full of crap. I don't know where to start with the staff. The ghetto Hispanic office mgr is the worst of the bunch. Seems as if out of the 10 women who work the front office most are lazy, rude liars who don't care at all about their patients. They have continuously lied to me to try to get out of lies. The only person who I've witnessed being professional and courteous is Sherry. This company has popped up a lot of offices in the last few years and between the NPs & physicians constantly leaving & their unprofessional staff this has become a factory. Seems like they've thrown patient care out of the window and replaced it with $$! They constantly send patients for unnecessary exams and follow up visits. Of course… you're always going to be referred to a specialist that is affiliated with Riverside. What a disservice to the patients of northern NJ.

Dr. Raza is a very detailed doctor who has been taking care of me for me. He is compassionate and caring and takes the time to explain things to you. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Raza takes his time with everyone doesn't rush listens to what I have to say. He took me in the hospital and checked me in and out 1 day and I am fine just going back for my checkups. Great staff very accommodating, friendly, takes their time and talks with you.
