Dr. Jagdish Shyam Nachnani, MD

Dr. Nachnani took time to listen to the problems I was having and told me what he thought needed to be done and the risks of the procedure and medicine. He is very nice and caring.

I had everything prepared in my head that I wanted to tell the Dr when he came in and when he finally did he came in, in such a flurry and said the reason for being late was that he was on call with the hospital. After waiting all that time he hurriedly asked me a few questions, without me being able to give him the full picture of what was going on and my concerns. I think he spent a total of maybe 8 minutes with me and he seemed very rushed. I got on the elevator trying to process what just happened and did not have a good feeling. It bothered me the whole next day and I'm just not comfortable with what happened. He's going to put me under anesthesia and never asked me any background information or on any experience with previous surgeries not to mention he doesn't really know what's been going on with me. He never even explained the procedure, the process, what to expect, nothing. He looked like he read the risks off the computer and never even looked at me. I didn't even get to… process any questions I might have and had to ask the nurse a couple of questions that I thought of when she came in.

Dr was very helpful. Gave me time to ask any questions I had.

Genetic liver disease runs in my family and so many doctors that I’ve talk to were very nonchalant about it and didn’t take the time to listen to our story and my concerns. I am convinced that somehow through having my mom let me to the doctor because he is the only one I have found that seems to care and Genuinely wants to educate me and help me stay healthy moving forward. Caring compassionate great sense of humor, Can’t say enough great things about this doctor

Have suffered from IBS and severe acid reflux for years and seen several different physicians along the way and Dr. Nachnani was the only dr that truly listened to my symptoms and was able to give me a true diagnosis along with a care plan. I have felt 100% better since i began treatment and being taught what foods to avoid to help with my symptoms. I never have any trouble getting in to see him because his staff is always willing to work with my schedule.

I've been a patient of his for many years. He always takes the time to hear what i have to say. His nurses always get me in ASAP and answer any questions i have.

He diagnosed me with primary biliary cirrhosis, which is a liver disease that can lead to cirrhosis. He prescribed medication for this disease. After I realized that he seemed very non-chalant about it, while myself and my primary care physician were quite upset about it, I went to get a second opinion. I DO NOT have primary biliary cirrhosis. The Dr. said even if I did have it, you wouldn't start taking the medicine he put me on this early on...Needless to say I have a feeling he diagnoses a lot of his patients with these types of chronic diseases so they will have to continue to come see him.
