Dr. Sandoval has a complete array of medical instruments. The prior doctor who I had seen sent me to various locations to draw blood, get EKG, and x-ray. Dr. Sandoval does seem very interested in his patients. I will say that he does assign patients to medical studies, so I did get free medication and blood monitor and I was paid fifty to one hundred dollars for each of the study visits. I do realize how important it is to keep up with blood glucose, and I would not have done so if it was my own decision.

Rude, uneducated in the field of medicine, said Hashimoto's goes away it does not (its an autoimmune DISEASE/DISORDER), said all people have hypothyroidism and I didn't need to see an endocrinologist. (People with hypothyroid disease generally need to see a specialist.) Said Norco was heroin. Did not examine me or inquire about past medical history. Very bad bedside manner and appears totally uneducated in any medically related area.

I went in to see dr. Sandoval to ask for tests of my thyroid. I have several of the symptoms of hypothyroidism so I thought why not check it. He told me that I had a problem losing weight because I eat so I told him of course I eat but I am only eating 1500 calories a day I should lose more than 10 pounds within 3 or 4 months. He said don't eat, you can't lose weight and feel satisfied so don't eat. So I asked him if he was asking me to starve myself and he said it's ok to feel hungry. So I told him I don't mind feeling hungry but not eating at all isn't good. He said well then I guess you don't want to lose weight that bad. "You people want a magic pill or a diet that allows you to lose weight and still feel satisfied. Not gonna happen , don't eat, no need to count calories just don't eat" then he says just do Atkins that would be good for you. He still set me up to run the tests but I think if something comes back abnormal I will find another doctor to treat me. On the other hand… my father and sister go to him and had nothing but nice things to say about him. I don't know but a doctor that tells me not to eat is not helping me. I already have conditions that he is aware of that are known for making it more difficult to lose weight so why would he think I'm not trying. I'm super irritated by his rude behavior and unsound advice.

I called several doctors in the area and the earliest they could see me was about 3 weeks from my call. By then who needs them, Doctor Sandoval was able to see me the same day and give me the proper medication for my problem. I felt a whole lot better the next day after taking the pills he gave me.

Got me in as walk in so thats a plus compared to other Dr.'s. Waited 2 hours and was only seen for 3 min or less. When I explained what I felt he just felt the spot on my back and said oh it's nothing you'll be fine. Just rest for 3 days. What I just spent $60 for someone to tell me something my 3 year old could have told me. I asked for exams and I was denied, even though I would be paying for it. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THERE.

This is a great doctor and human being.

He is a great doctor. He takes his time with clients and will refer when necessary. The old fashioned kind of doctor and easy to get an appointment. Even the same day is available. Great to give samples, overall he is a great guy with funny sense of humor.
