We have been going to Dr. Murphy for years. The expertise he has always left us confident. His referrals were always with doctors and medical providers that had the same expertise as Dr. Murphy. We went in one day and was told that he was wanting to cut his patient load because of semi-retirement. So, his solution was to have patients that wanted to stay with him, pay an annual fee of $2000 per person. It had to be paid then and could not be payed out. I don’t know about other people, but there was no way we could afford to do that. We feel like we were kicked to the curb. Very disappointed.

I have been looking for a new PCP since my last one retired, which I loved! I read all the great reviews for Dr, Murphy and wanted to make an appt. to see him. I called and asked reception if he was taking new patients and was told matter of fact like, "No, he is not". Guess I will have to keep looking.....

Started with Dr. Murphy before the ink was dry on his degree. He is a country doctor in the big city for sure. He has seen my family though some really bad times medically and emotionally and never not once disappointed. Hope he lives for ever can't even begin to think about another doctor in my life.

Dr. Murphy is the best family doctor I've ever had and I hope to have him looking after me for many more years. I find him to be highly knowledgeable, empathetic and in tune to my particular concerns and needs. His referrals to other specialists are always in concert with my personality and background.

Dr. Murphy as been our family dr for over 20 years! he is an exceptional dr. and does make you feel a part of his family. he is my go-to guy when I have any medical issue. i always call him for advise or second opinion! he has never let me down and is always there to help in any way! please don't ever retire...just don't know what I would do without you! he is a gift from God!
