Dr. James Anthony Novak, MD

Dr. Novak is an excellent physician! who is abreast of the latest research; even more knowledgeable, compassionate than my East Coast Duke physician.

The company that they use for blood test has not desifered my test results properly. I was told my testosterone was high and my kidney function was low, but since I have been tested in 3 orher medical offices and all of these othet office said that my blood tests were normal.

Dr. James Novak accepted my brother (who is a man who experiences autism with significant communication and behavioral challenges) when nobody else would. He and his staff have been invaluable in restoring community and health into my brother's life through their compassion and flexibility when we needed it the most. Without Dr. Novak, my brother would have had to go to an emergency room and be pumped with psychotropic meds just to be seen for an infected fingernail or for a prostate exam, for example. Although often swamped with patients who realize his worth, Dr. Novak finds time to ask pertinent questions, truly listen, prescribe medication for quick results, and offer possibilities for supplements and strategies that might help in a variety of circumstances we have faced. He is well-read and exudes a passion for practicing medicine and impacting the life quality of his patients. For the past 7 years, Dr. Novak has not let us down. People can always find something to complain about.… Bottom line for me is that I trust Dr. Novak with my life, and my brother's life.

Worst doctor I have ever been to! Not only was the lady who helped me super judgmental from the beginning (which I was made an appt for James novak...so not sure why a lady was seeing me anyways???) But I CALLED AHEAD to make sure they could continue a prescription I have had for FOUR YEARS from TWO DOCTORS. she obviously didn't understand at all how this medication is used, as she referred me out to a specialist. The 2 prior doctors I had prescribed it, and they were primary care?? Why can't you help me?? Thanks for wasting 25 dollars, and the time it takes to change my primary care doctor again, find a new primary care, and get a prescription before my prior refill is up. I don't remember her name, but if you read this, PLEASE QUIT YOUR JOB. You are rude, and obviously clueless to medicine. And tell your receptionists that if you can't treat me for something, DON'T TELL ME YOU CAN! I wish I could give you less than one star for wasting my time and being so judgmental!

Dr. Novak literally saved my life when I was suffering from liver failure. I will be eternally grateful to him.

Dr. Novak has helped out our whole family. His bedside manner makes you feel you are in good hands. He knows his craft, open to learning & doesn't lose sight of you as a whole person. He is kind & concerned & listens to his patients as well. Nice staff. We recommend him highly to anyone who wants a doctor who cares.

Pam the PA is very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Dr. Novak gave me, via a nurse, an injection of a class of medicine that I can not tolerate resulting in a great deal of pain. He was very dismissive and appears not to embrace a scientific approach to medicine.

This doctor has saved my life more times than I can count. When other doctors treat patients as files and numbers, he looks at them as individuals and treats them accordingly.

Dr. Novak is awesome!!! after 10 months of living in horrific pain with Lyme Disease I found Dr. Novak and he is giving me my life back. I highly recommend him!

I will say this, Dr. Novak has always listened to me been kind and understanding. He is very genuine. His staff awesome as well. they are always smiling and helpful and kind as well. Great bedside manor. I dont know what i would do with out Dr. Novak and his staff. I love the environment, it is very relaxed and well kept. I just wish i lived closed so i could make him my primary physician. Its hard to drive from Apple Valley, but definately worth it. THANKS DR. NOVAK & STAFF FOR BEING SO GREAT!!!
