Dr. James Apesos, MD

He gave me a face lift that changed nothing. I still have a sagging face and chin. Behind my ears is horrible and still painful to touch 6 months later. He said it needed to be done again for 1/2 price. Do not go to this man! I truly believe he is incompetent!

I went to see Dr. Apesos a few years ago for a consultation and felt he was rude and unfriendly. I went back about 3 or 4 years later (because so many people spoke so highly of his work) and was pleasantly surprised! He was very nice, patient and took the time to answer every question I had. Fast forward, I decide to go with him for my procedure, his staff is AMAZING, they helped me get everything scheduled and that was that! Easy enough…right? Wrong! A few days after my procedure I’m in a lot of pain, crazy swelling so I call him and he squeezes me in. I see him SEVERAL times after this visit for discomfort, swelling etc. I tell him then that I’m unhappy with things, he gives me scripts and tells me I have to wait 6 months before correcting things. I wait 6 months, pay again and I’m STILL UNHAPPY and all he told me was to request my records and go somewhere else which is what I should’ve done in the first place…GO WITH YOUR FIRST INSTINCT!

I Know From My Own Personal Experience That Doctor Apesos Is A Man Of His Word Just Like He Is Professional Board Certified Plastic Surgen That Is A Caring Person And Not A Butcher.

Dr. Apesos is a true professional and came to our rescue at at 10:30 on a Saturday night! Our two year old daughter was bitten in the lower lip by a friend's dog at their home. The bite punctured through the lip into her mouth. She was bleeding a lot. I was driving and madly calling on my phone to make sure the emergency room at Dayton Children's South was open. Once there, the attending physician said they would only irrigate the wound and prescribe antibiotics. That did not seem right so I took picture of my daughters face and texted it to Dr. Apesos. I had his cell # after he did a chemical peel on me. Dr. Apesos immediately called and said the treatment prescribed was wrong and we should leave and meet him at his office. On route he called again and diverted us to a pharmacy and met us there so we could get the antibiotics. We proceeded to his office, which he opened, and then numbed the wound and stitched up our daughter. Holding her head still while he did this was one… of the hardest things I have ever done. She is doing great and there is only a little pink spot now! I cannot thank Dr. Apesos enough!

He is as arrogant and dishonest person/doctor I have ever met. All he cares about is the money and could care less about you and if the procedure is right and necessary for you. He will tell you there is nothing to worry about and you will get the results you want when in fact you are playing a game of russian roulette with your body with Apesos. There is no artistry with him and he will not turn you away from any procedure even if you do not need it. The work he did on my face is absolutely awful and all he had to say to me afterwards was you'll get used to it. Being board certified means very little because he has zero ethics and integrity. On top of that he is in his mid 70s and I would not trust going under the knife with anyone at that age. I hope everyone could find peace and happiness with their own body and stay away from people with attitudes like him.

Dr Apesos is a very average surgeon (at best) but an even worse human being. I now know why some reviews say he puts money above your best interests. He will say he can do anything and that you are in good hands at the consultation but after he gets your money and does the surgery, his story completely changes. There is nothing you can do to get back you money back and even worse, what you used to look like. Do not buy in to what he says. He lied to me for the sake of making money and could care less about the effects and results of the surgery. Just stay away from James Apesos and save your money and your well being!

I had breast implants earlier this year. I met with a few doctors and was not impressed. No one seemed to listen to what I wanted. I met Dr. Apesos and we had a long informational talk. He listend to me and took his time. None of the appointments were rushed, I felt I was in good hands. I am very happy with the work he did for me. I am looking forward to working with him again soon.

Just wanted to thank Dr. Apesos and his staff. Dr. Apesos is the expert in his field. I would recommend you to choose him if you are considering a breast augmentation.
