DR JAMES C VARNER is the best doctor is the south Ive been to him numerous times and I go for months with no pain. I drive from HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, AR. and back just to see him. HE IS THE BEST KNEE DR IVE EVER MET.

My husband went to OrthoStat/Ortho Memphis in excruciating pain in his shoulder/neck/arm with numbness/tingling in his left hand. Dr. Varner basically called my husband a "junkie" and intimated he was just there for pain pills. NEVER have I been so angry and frustrated with any (so-called) medical professional. This was my husbands first experience at Ortho Memphis and, if it's up to me, it will be his last. I would recommend EVERYONE to avoid Ortho Memphis at all costs if you are in pain and suffering. I understand the opioid crisis we have in our country right now but it cannot be that difficult for a medical facility to access medical records to see if a patient has been treated/given medications previously. My husband rarely goes to any doctor and, in my opinion, this was akin to malpractice to treat him as though he was just there "for the pills". He wanted TREATMENT...not pills. Ortho Memphis provided neither.

Very, very intelligent, courteous, prompt, interested in your case, quickly seeks correct answers to your problem and the medical solution to resolve your issues. Highly recommend this orthopedic physician as the one to care for you. You will be greatly pleased. His staff are a mirror image of his dedication to you, his patient and you will be their number one focus.

great doc! Took care of my problem.....pronto! I'm gonna trust him again.....got another issue....going to see him Monday, hope he can fix this, like he did my last problem......it never hurt again!!
