I had a bleeding hemorrhoid and went to Dr. Dilorenzo because he described himself specialized in GI issues including hemorrhoids. He performed a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy on me in the Bronx GI Center. After the procedures I left, paying all my co-payments but I still had a bleeding hemorrhoid. He recommended to come back in a half year for another endoscopy. He didn't address my hemorrhoid issue but was interested charging me for colono/endoscopies. After that I went to another GI doctor. He surgically removed my hemorrhoid 2 weeks after my first visit. I stayed at hospital for a half day. I paid a much less copay. Now I don't have any hemorrhoids or bleeding etc. I don't recommend this doctor to anyone who has a serious hemorrhoid issue.

Long time patient so I would have expected him to be nicer. So disgusted with how disrespectful he was during a recent visit where I accompanied my husband. As a result, I am transitioning all future care to his associate. My entire family has used him throughout the years and I will influence them to switch as well. He should stick to administration and leave bedside care to his associates. It is also a disgraceful practice that all patients need an extra visit for a consultation in order to have a colonoscopy. This is a way to increase reimbursement for a preventative service. Providers should try to remove all barriers to care rather than create additional ones that are financially based.

I feel that Dr. Delorenzo is an excellent doctor. He is probably the best doctor out there at what he does and I also feel that I would be very confident and trust him in any decisions that he would make in my health care. I highly recommend!!!

Horrible bedside manners.Has no personality. Cannot diagnose patients problems.Gets angry very easily.Do not recommend

Rude, disconcerting and careless. Not a nice man. He ended the office visit abruptly like he had better things to do instead of caring what the patient had to say. Refused to accommodate patient's request..
