Dr. James Edward Hoffman, MD

Dr. James Hoffman is a compassionate, knowledgeable and extremely caring physician. He treats you with dignity and is very professional and takes the time to answer your questions; never rushes you. His entire staff is wonderful too, especially Lisa, Coordinator Sylvester Hematology/Oncology who coordinated the transfer of my medical records to Dr. Hoffman. Excellent doctor!!

Dr Hoffman was amazing. Great bedside manners. Very gentle with my mom knowing her condition. Would recommend.

Dr. Hoffman is kind and listens closely. He does not rush you and spends the time you need. His staff is warm and attentive also. The people in Deerfield Clinic are supportive and caring and on top of your care...what more can one ask for or expect? I am just grateful to have found this physician and his staff! Truly a Dr's Dr.

dr. hoffman was the best thing that could have happened to me after being told that i had cancer. if g-d forbid anyone in my family needed to see a hem/onc i would very aggressively urge them to see dr. hoffman.

Dr Hoffmanm and his staff were excellent. He was knowedgeable and compassionate in treating my lymphoma. I trusted him 100% and he pulled me through some very difficult moments. I highly recommend him.

I heard of dr. Hoffman when my mom was in the hospital . I didn't get to physically meet him until my mom had an appointment with his office. Super nice doctor, take time to explain things to you. Very patient. He has a super, sufficient staff that take care of the patient in a mannerable way. The staff is very nice and greet u with a smile. Hats off to Dr. Hoffman & his staff.

When life throws you a curve, it's nice to know there are doctors like Dr. Hoffman around. I found him to be more than just a doctor, but a person who is compassionate, sensitive and uplifting during this frightening time. Whenever I met with him he spent our time totally focused on me, never rushing, never looking at the clock and very willing to conference in my daughter In NY so she may be part of the discussion. Anyone who has had the opportunity to spend any time with Dr. Hoffman understands what I'm saying.

I don't know where to begin. I moved my dad from AZ and Dr. Hoffman was just starting at Cleveland Clinic in Weston. We waited for him as my dad had been diagnosed with a very rare lymphoma disease. Dr. Hoffman was very patient and kind when talking with us about the different options we had to chose from. As my dad's disease progressed, he always came to see him when he was in the hospital. He spent endless time with us helping us to understand our options. Unfortunately, the cancer took my day's life and when the Dr's at the hospital told me there was nothing else we could do, I asked for Dr. Hoffman. He came right over and talked to me at the hospital. At the end of our talk, in my dad's room, he hugged me and told me what a wonderful daughter I was and my dad was so lucky to have me. He made the worst time of my life, a little easier, what a wonderful, kind compassionate man! Thank you Dr. Hoffman, please never change!

I was suffering with iron deficiency anemia for years. Nothing worked including iron pills. Dr. Hoffman recommended IV iron which I had never heard of and I felt so much better after doing so. He takes time to explain blood test results in a matter of factly manner and not at all with a condescending tone like other physicians. He is wonderful.

I was totally impressed with Dr. Hoffman. When I took my mom for her first visit, Dr. Hoffman had already taken the time to review her records from the previous doctor and knew her entire history. I had not experienced that care with any other doctors. He also took the time to educate us on my mom's health problem and explained it in such a way that my mom and I left the office totally understanding and my mom was at ease and not worried any longer. For the past year, other physicians had continue to order exams and procedures that were unnecessary. Dr. Hoffman is the best!!! I definitely recommend him as the best physician! Smiles!
