Dr. James M Haymore III has the following 1 specialty
- Family Medicine
A family practitioner is a doctor who specializes in caring for people of all ages, at all stages of life. Rather than focusing on the treatment of one disease or patient population, family practitioners are often the doctors that people see for their everyday ailments, like cold and flu or respiratory infections, and health screenings. When necessary, family practitioners will provide referrals for conditions that require the expertise of another specialist.
The doctors may also provide physicals, inoculations, prenatal care, treat chronic diseases, like diabetes and asthma, and provide advice on disease prevention.

This is the first time I have ever made an appointment for the earliest available, given an appointment time for 8am, but the doctor does not come into the office until 9am. (and later). I spent an over an hour waiting to see the "first appointment of the day". I think that this shows a total disrespect for my time.
I have learned that you can have bad experiences at any doctor you go to. Some people want to make a big deal out of it than they need to. I however can say honestly that I have never had a problem at this Dr. office. They have been an excellent Family Practice for me and my family. They have been able to squeeze us in during emergencies, and in general there is usually only a short wait to get into the office. The Doctors and Staff are usually friendly and the Doctors will spend time with you answering questions you have and just taking good personal interest in you.
The doctor was not very knowledgeable about the disorder I haveand asked me questions about it.The older "nurse" (I'm assuming she was a nurse) was extremely loud and abrasive (to the point of embarrassing me) because she was certain that my insurance could not be ran (though, thank goodness, one of the staff there told her it couldso that was finally fixed). The lady who took my blood collapsed 2 veins, hit a tendon, and after 5 attempts (stabs with a needle) to get blood, I finally had to make her stop (though she still didn't have enough blood for the labwork). When I did, she acted like I was whining. Sorry5 times and you cant do your job, Im stupid if I let you keep going. The staff and the doctor had to be reminded countless times to do admin things (arrange additional appointments with specialists). It appeared that my son was told to return for a second appointment (for an INGROWN TOENAILand it wasnt a follow up appointmentit was the one that he actually removed the toenail), in order to get more money from the insurance company (just my speculation). After a few months of having this office as my primary care facility, I changed. I won't pay money for that kind of service.
