I had to have an emergency appointment and was very apprehensive. The doctor took time to explain the procedure, was kind and patient during the procedure and spent time answering my son's questions after the procedure. Additionally he has made two follow up phone calls (one, midday on Saturday) to give me updates and share progress of the diagnosis. He never has talked 'at' me, always 'to' me, which is important to me.

I was diagnosed with acid reflux gerd and he also insisted that i get an endoscopy. I have to say that all that was prescribed was acid pump inhibitors Omeprazole and to watch my diet. So I read directions for medicine and it suggests not for prolonged use. He never really spoke to me after the endoscopy never really offered any other types of treatment. I asked if the medicine does not work what about surgery? And that answer was 'usually we do not have surgery for this problem.' So needless to say 2yrs later I still have the same problem, the medicine did not really help at all. I hate when you are depending on the professionals to help and all you get is excuses and a masking of the problem not a cure!!! And now the problem is getting worse and from what I understand it can lead to esophageal cancer etc. And to top it off my insurance did not cover 200.00 of a 1500.00 bill and 200.00 was sent to collections which is now a 600.00 being garnished from wages. I just felt as if… I received no help at all from this so called dr. It sure went to collections quickly enough but no help. So thanks for listening and background check your dr. Most states offer a free check on your dr. to see if any cases are pending etc.
