While I did have to wait more than a week for an appointment, I was not surprised; I've waited longer for other specialists. Once there, the office staff were very pleasant and prompt (I no sooner sat down than I was being shown to the examining room) and the Dr was just as prompt; I waited less than a minute for him. He asked questions, listened thoughtfully to my answers, asked MORE questions, and conducted a thorough exam. He was able to reassure me that my injury, while painful, was not as damaging as I had anticipated, and was able to provide treatment that solved the problem, so I did not need follow-up care. If you are active, and want to stay that way, Dr. Langenkamp has the knowledge and experience to help you achieve results. I'd recommend him highly.

Why is it when a dr. is stumped, instead of trying to figure it out,or sending you to another dr. for another opinion, they say something mean like, "maybe the next dr. you see should be a phychiatrist"? That's exactly what happened to me. After a minor back surgery, my hip started hurting. He quickly dismissed me , thinking that I was a hyper-condriac. As it turned out I had avascular necrosis of my hip, but was left to figure it out on my own.But that comment stayed with me a long time. I needed help, not self-doubt.
