The worst case of little man syndrome I've ever seen!!

I regret trusting this little person!!

Crap.

I am not a doctor or anywhere near it so I decided to trust my physician and do what he told me to do. He seemed very busy but gave me more time than hospital-hired derms had previously. I have moderate to severe acne and got peeling/red skin from the treatments which scared me. I asked him about it and he explained the reasons the medication would work and what I could do while still using to prevent unsightly areas (I changed makeup and skin products). It helped treat those areas and now that it's 7 years later, I don't have any scarring or issues with acne/skin dryness at ALL! I read these reviews and felt I needed to give Dr McGrann some credit. He's a older, teddy bear and a bit quiet but a great doctor. I've moved states but I would never have had the confidence I did in high school or college if it wasn't for the great skin Dakota Derm helped me get.

Excellent physician - very knowledgeable.Answers all questions posed, isn't in a rush to see next patient. Available after the visit. Very caring, excellent 'bedside' manner.Best dermatologist I've met.

Both my daughter and I had challenges right as we were leaving the country and he did a fabulous job taking care of both of us.... definitely worth the wait!

He was one of the best doctors I have ever dreamed of having

I trusted his advice, but it turned out to be very damaging. He would make comments like, "We'll get you back to being beautiful," the implication being that at that time my skin was so bad it was making me unattractive. In hindsight, had I been the doctor, my advice to the patient would have been this: "It's really not noticeable, unless you point it out. Cover it up with make-up if it really bothers you. You could also consider permanent make-up. Anything else will probably make things worse. You look fine. Lots of people have things like this."After the treatments he prescribed, my skin is now far worse, and can never become normal again, but it meant more office visits for him, a regular patient.It seems superficial, I suppose, but ruined skin really changes your life; it affects everything. You don't even want to brush your teeth, because you don't want to look in the mirror and see your ruined skin. But you have to. And anywhere you go, people wonder what happened to your face,… your skin. I'd just like to not have to be self-conscious everywhere I go.

Good physician

He made my skin worse...the prescription drugs he gave me for moderate acne (that would've went away) made my skin extremely red and dry, and that hasn't went away in four years.
