I have recovered completely from 2 hip replacements. Recently I have been experiencing intermittent leg pain. Dr. Melvin reviewed new x-rays, and my present hip functioning. My hips are doing great. He diagnosed the problem as related to my back and made a PT referral. I am very grateful to find an answer for my problem. He was professional, kind and answered all my questions.

It is easy to get appointments, and his staff is excellent with communication. His site for pre-op & post-op information is fantastic. I felt very personally guided & reassured during the entire surgical preparation & recovery. He is a skilled orthopedic surgeon with a caring bedside manner. He recently performed my knee replacement and I am thrilled with my results already. I highly recommend Dr Melvin.

On the strong recommendation of my internist, I made an appointment with Dr. Melvin, after being seen at the ER at Sibley Hospital. I like the fact that he ordered his own X-rays, after studying the ones taken at the ER. He was very clear and hopeful about what my recovery should look like and changed the hardware I was given at the ER. So far, so good!
