Dr. James Patrick Johnston, DO

Excellent remote consultation to treat illness. Dr. Johnston did everything I expected he would do and appears to be a man of faith, unusual in this time and probably at the root of any negative comments as well. Sadly

This man is married and supports the "Activist mommy". She frequently protests LGBTQ events and planned parenthood. She hasn't actually studied the groups that she's so obsessed with making her arguments ludicrous and without valour. Get a better doctor without beliefs that hinder his better judgment.

Dr. Johnston is a skilled and caring physician who always gives patients the care they need with knowledge and patience. Highly recommend!!!

He doesn't believe in science, and should not be practicing medicine

My husband and I have had Dr. Johnston as our Dr for over 6 years! We truly love this office and feel they have always taken great care of us!

They sent samples to a lab that was out of my network and ended up costing me $1,000. Very inconsiderate after I had initially pointed out the importance of keeping cost low due to my college loans.

I actually came from the big bustling metropolis known as the Washington DC metro area, to live in this bucolic small town environment that is Dresden, Ohio. I have a truly challenging, life altering, brutally painful condition that is completely disabling. And I've seen vast numbers of specialists and family doctors during my brief visit to planet Earth. Many of these docs have been good I think, some better than others, but none as good as this guy, Dr. Johnston. He is prompt, thorough, very down to earth but not entirely folksy either. It is clear that he knows his stuff and is not afraid to involve himself in a clinical conundrum if it can benefit this patient even slightly. His staff follow his example, and are some of the nicest people I have ever met, even outside the confines of a medical office. If you need a family doc, you can't go wrong with this one. Worth the trip if you live in Coshoctin, Zanesville or parts in between.
