Dr. James Frederick Pehoushek, MD

Scheduled an appointment with Dr. Pehoushek. When I got there I was told I'd see a PA, not the doctor. I was with the PA for 7 minutes and charged $175 (and that was with insurance). I wouldn't consider using anyone from this practice and will do my best to make sure others know what to expect.

Comprehensive, knowledgeable, fast, accurate, entertaining, completed in one visit what could have taken 4.

I spent over a year and a lot of money and frustration trying to find out what was wrong with the bottom of my feet. I went to several dermatologists a podiatrist and allergists. Dr Pehoushek knew what it was right away. The prescription was the first medication to be effective. I am so thankful to have a diagnosis finally.

I was having a real problem with my skin. I had a rash for months that 3 other doctors could not figure out - including 2 other dermatologists. I was able to get in right away with Dr. P. Every place else I had been took weeks to get an appointment. Dr. P gave me the time to explain my problem and then did a very through exam. I could tell he really cared and was taking the time to figure out what was going on. He came up with the diagnosis at the first visit and by the end of the week, my problem was completely resolved. He knows his stuff and is very professional and easy going. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends. His office staff was great too!

What a waste of time and money! Dr. late on both appointments. An 11:10 A.M. appointment should be seen at 11:10 A.M. and NOT noon. Dr. didn't seem to care about my concern, told me it was healing nicely (yeah, right, 3 weeks after biopsy). He didn't seem to care the medication he prescribed in the previous visit didn't work. His suggestions for other treatments were lame at best. I guess i got my moneys worth..

I saw Dr. Pehousek for a general consultation and had a couple of questions written down so I would not forget to ask him about it. It was a short list with quick questions - I had a small pimple on the chest area that I started to ask him about, before I knew what happened he grabbed an implement and said it had to be removed. I asked him if that was necessary and that I was concerned about a scare being left. He said it had to be removed and no scare. He also removed a foot wart and did not warn me of the extent of his procedure and the amount of pain I would be subjected to within the 24 hour period after removal. He was terrible at communication. I called his office to simply ask for the path report on the removal. I was sent a 3 page document with all manner of rude, aggressive writings towards me. It was very strange. I later was told that the record was written that way to try to embarrass me into not using the medical record. It turns out that pimple he removed from the… chest area was simply an ingrown hair, and his procedure left a massive, unnecessary scare. I can't wear even basic tee-shirts anymore because of it. Also, some of the women in his office are very cliquish and vicious and do always have to have the last word.

I cannot believe that I returned to him, after driving 30 miles. Worst exam ever; called into the pharmacy the wrong RX. Refused to return phone call, including the staff, and would not respong to the pharmacy fax and calls. I cannot believe that these reputable specialists allowed him into their practice. Been going to Dr. Uptograph for 20 years

Dr. P is by far the best Dermatologist I have ever been to see. If you are looking for a top notch Dermatologist he is your go to guy. He is an excellent doctor and great with his patients.
