Dr. James Richard Romanowski

Since the site won’t let me amend a review I made in pain and anger, my only recourse is to submit a new review. Dr. Romanowski is incredibly knowledgeable about my shoulder injury. If surgery turns out to by my final recourse, I trust him completely.

One of my favorite Doctors. He was very gentle with my bad knees. He first explained the cortisone shots. I agreed. A week later I called and made an appointment .I suggested a new knee (since I could barely walk without pain). We set a date for surgery on right knee. Everything went perfectly. I was up and walking in a few days. There is almost no pain and I can bend it and walk on it. He is very caring with every visit i make to his office. He is very considerate and pays attention to any concerns. Such a wonderful Dr.

Dr Romanowski's approach to my right side frozen shoulder was excellent. He asked me how aggressive do you want to be? This is after I had a frozen shoulder on the left side. He did not treat or see me for my frozen shoulder on my left side. I said, aggressive. He explained his approach, I considered it and agreed to surgery. The surgery went excellently. At 10 days post surgery, I went to see him as planned. The improvement after 10 days was great. Today, 6 weeks post surgery, progress is continuing. The process is exactly as he described and planned. He prescribed PT which is contributing to my success. It all began with his surgery which was flawless. He is personable, focused on my recovery and progress, reasonable, across the board my interest is his concern. I recommend him highly.

Dr J Rowmanowski is excellent. He did the surgery for both knee replacement surgeries for me and I could not be happier with the results. Now I can DAB like I never did before, lol!! I do the Spastic Dab bc I have no coordination , but enjoy DABBING !! He can’t teach not to he Spastic! Regardless he is the best surgeon in ever !!!!

I had a shoulder injury and one of my friends referred me to Dr. Romanowski. He was thorough and helped relieve my anxiety. Surgery wasn’t necessary and I’m back to working out.

I was referred to Dr. Romanowski by a friend for a second opinion. He took the time to review my MRI and other reports. He answered my questions and did not seem rushed.

Mixed review. Dr. Romanowski has a great bedside manner and is quite professional. Unfortunately, his attempts to replace/repair my right shoulder failed 3 times. Counting the two remediations, I WAS OPERATED ON 5 TIMES, and came away quite disappointed. Especially since he pointed to his previous experience with shoulder replacement at the outset. When I asked about his experience, he said he did about two a week.

I saw Dr. Romanowski his first week in Charlotte and liked him immediately. He has since replaced both of my knees and repaired a torn rotator cuff. He is very caring and personable!!

Hello, I wanted let everyone know how disappointed I am with Dr. Romanowski and his choice to leave an hour early rather than stay for my appointment I had scheduled with him. I had an appointment with Dr. Romanowski on a friday, at 11:50am. I received a call on Thursday, stating that he is cancelling my appointment (because he was leaving at 10:30am for the holiday). I'm in alot of pain and only needed a cortisone shot in my hand. I called the office to see if he would reconsider and the answer was no. I am disappointed that Dr. Romanowski doesn't value his patients care as much as he does leaving the office early.

Dr. Romanowski is a great doctor. He seems to care about me as a patient. I would recommend him to anyone.
