Dr. James Schaberg, MD

Dr. Schaberg came highly recommended, however I seen Dr. Schaberg twice for a total of 10 minutes. He accused me of seeing him previously which I did not. He never discussed my situation at all with me and spoke to me like I was a child. He sent me to physical therapy for arthritis which was not why I was there to see him. After I went to therapy for a month I returned for my second appointment with him, it was then he stated you need surgery however I am not the doctor for you. He stated I would need to see a specialist that does surgery just on the shoulder area. When I asked for a referral he wasn't able to provide any information. I stated I wasn't understanding what was happening, his comment was "What is it that you are not understanding" he wrote me another script for physical therapy and then stated "I can't help you and with that he walked out of the room". I have never been to a doctor that had this type of "bedside" assistance. If it wasn't for physical therapist I… would not have found the "specialist" to assist me! I would not recommend Dr. Schaberg to anyone!

Dr. Schaberg did a hip replacement for me. He did a super job, he has wonderful bedside manner and cares about the well being of his patients. I would recommend him.

Having received total knee replacements from this fine surgeon 90 days apart due to not having a single problem from surgery or healing, I can honestly say this professional gave me new life. Courteous staff and I chose an over the top fine hospital. Great experience overall.

I saw Dr. Schaberg for a total knee replacement. I felt very comfortable with him and he was very attentive and caring until my knee failed to get better. He kept saying "try more therapy or maybe you're just a slow healer"! Here I am 2 years post-op and still in pain with swelling. I sought out a second opinion and was told I need to have it re-done!

I didn't get my issue with my leg addressed. I wasn't looking for pills or a reason to sue anyone. I still feel there is indeed something wrong in the knee area & I will go to my primary doctor & see what he thinks. I won't be back to this facility.

I like how Dr Schaberg is efficient and direct when discussing my issues. He makes me feel so confident that he knows exactly what's wrong and how to fix it. The wait time between apt and procedure was great.

I have been a patient for over 30 years. He is the most professional, knowledgeable, friendly orthopedic doc around. My whole family are patients and now my grandchildren are his patients. Make an appointment and see for yourself.
