Dr. Trippett is what I would describe as one that does not take a great deal of interest in his patients' personal issues. His matter of fact approach resonates with his clinical coldness. As I wait in the exam room I can clearly hear him chatting with his female staff about everyday topics not dealing with medicine but his own personal family life as well as theirs, thus making my wait totally unwarranted knowing he is not with another patient. When he finally does come in he sits down, listens and then quickly jumps off his stool as though he has been sitting on a bed of thistles and can barely contain his desire to leave. As for the front staff, they are far from helpful when I call. Recently called to fill a script which I badly needed and whoever took the message had not put the name of the med on his 'notice' even though I had repeated this at least three times. So no call to my pharmacy that day as he did not know the med's name. I found this out the next morning. You would think with all the free time he does chatting with his staff, while patients wait in rooms, he might look at his script notices and approve them so that the need of the patient is fulfilled. No, he waits at the end of the day - no doubt his staff has left and he has no one to chat with. Totally unacceptable and inefficient on his part. I've had enough of dealing with his front desk staff's incompetence and his total lack of professional care to the office he has been called to. If the customer comes first, so too the patient. Not so in doctor Trippett's world. I have had enough. If it weren't for my presence he would not being getting paid - his patients are his bread and butter. I will be looking for another family physician and would never refer Dr. "Can't wait to see the back of my patient's back" Trippett!!
Just spoke with Taylor, receptionist whom answered the phone regarding scheduling a new patient appointment. Taylor was very rude in informing me they did not accept the insurance of my client. It's not what you say, but how you say it. It seems this office could use some training on customer service. First impressions are lasting, and you can rest assure I will not make any more referrals.
Diagnosis was probably wrong. Gave me strong medication that didn't fix my problem and I had horrible side effects from it. When I called to ask to switch medication, he never answered and no one in his staff helped. I had to make a new appointment in order to tell him that what he had given me wasn't working. I don't know where he gets good reviews from.
I work out of the country a lot and Dr. Trippett and his staff always take care of me and any situation that may arise. I've never waited longer than 5 minutes. Whenever my pharmacy drops the ball, they immediately fix the problem for me. I have a high level of confidence in Dr. Trippett and his people.
Usually get in the exam room within 15 min. of appt. time, then sit in the room for 30 minutes waiting for Dr. Dr. comes in, stays 2 minutes, leaves as if in a big hurry to see next patient. Never gives patient enough time to ask questions, and explain ailments and treatments. Way too much in a hurry. I have been Dr. Trippett's patient for about 10 yrs., now, but thinking of changing primary care provider.
