Dr. James A. Tulsky, MD

Dr. James Tulsky is an internal medicine physician who has dedicated nearly four decades to patient care since beginning his medical career. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Tulsky further advanced his expertise through a fellowship as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at UC San Francisco. He is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and communicates with patients in English.

Dr. Tulsky practices at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts, where he focuses on helping patients manage the challenges that come with cancer treatment. He specializes in treating cancer pain and addressing nausea and vomiting that can result from chemotherapy and other cancer therapies.
