This doctor is extremely precise. Very detailed, he knows what he's talking about and is very helpful. Also, Vangelder's office staff is amazing.

Dr. van Gelder works with an Nurse Practitioner, she is his wife. I often see her and find her to be knowledgable and caring. She takes time to explain what is going on and makes me feel secure. They collaborate on my care so I always feel he is part of my healthcare.

I love coming to this office no matter how bad I am feeling because I am always made to feel like family. Although I have seen the Doc several times in the past five years and think he is an amazing Nephrologist I usually always see his wife which is an ARNP and is the most caring woman I know. She takes her time and really cares about her patients.
