Dr. Jamil S Sulieman, MD

I was very dissatisfied with the service (or lack thereof) provided by Dr. Sulieman's office staff. In addition, there was an extreme lack of communication and follow-up. I cannot recommend him and suggest you look elsewhere if you are having sleep problems or suspected sleep apnea. A waste of time and $$.

This was the worst experience I have EVER had with a medical professional! Seems like he just wants to get my insurance company to pay him lots of money for nothing! I've been there twice and have done two different tests for sleep apnea, which I've already been diagnosed with years ago. I requested the in office test, but they gave me the at-home test, charged me and my insurance company so they could tell me the results were inconclusive and they have to do the test I requested in the first place. I go in and take that test receive the results, and return for another follow-up appointment so they can give me the same results I received the day of the test and tell me they need to put in the order for the CPAP machine. What have they been doing these past few weeks!?!? Over 4 office visits later, and they need to wait til my insurance company approves yet another charge for the same problem that I knew I had and have received absolutely no solutions for.

Extremely disappointed in the care and diagnosis received (or not received) by Dr. Sulieman. I work in the heath care industry and expect doctors to be experts in their fields. I came to the sleep lab with insomnia and trouble staying asleep. My family has a history of sleep apnea and general insomnia. I was told I was going to do a sleep study to be tested with a CPAP machine, but I was not given that during the test, and the tech on duty said I could leave early since I was having trouble sleeping. I came for my followup and Dr. Sulieman's expert diagnosis was "try drinking tart cherry juice before bed". Thanks. I am able to find home remedies like that on the web and they don't cost an arm and a leg. Overall, my inconclusive test and recommendation of cherry juice cost me well over 1,000. I certainly won't be going back there and advice others to think twice before becoming one of his patients.

The doctor seems to really know his speciality, and you sense he really cares about his patients.
