Dr. Jamison Joel Engle, MD

Dr is good, but waiting 2 hours so far in waiting room. Told to get here 15 minutes early as well. They know we have to be here so don’t care how long it takes. Job security.

Dr. Engle recently did a partial-thickness cornea transplant (dmek) surgery on one of my eyes, and both the process and results within his control were great. During the years before we decided on surgery he took a conservative, no rush to operate, approach that gave me confidence when the time came that it was in fact time to do the surgery. Pre-surgery, he patiently answered questions, continuing to come across as both confident and competent. Day-of-surgery, he had great "bedside" manners and made me comfortable going into the operating room. Post-surgery, while it's been only a few days, the graft appears to have been a complete success, despite some complications outside his control, and the vision in the operated-on eye is already better than my other eye. I'm sure there are other good doctors in Nevada who do what Dr. Engle does. However, there is no other doctor I would rather have operate on my eyes than Dr. Engle.

Dr Engle is smart and compassionate. We trust him and his care. His office staff is Professional and friendly. You may wait a few minutes for appointments, but it is because he is the best.
