Dr. Jana Leigh Ramsey, MD

I have been with Dr Ramsey for thirteen years. I have stayed with her all this time because she listened to me, discerned what I needed and prescribed a course that cured me of clinical depression and social anxiety. Dr Ramsey is not a typical medical practitioner. A visit with her is not a seven minute consult. She takes the time to ask you how you are doing, what has been happening in your life and making sure that the medicatons you are taking are working as intended and you are living as full a life as you can unencumbered by emotional challenges of daily life.

Can't get a hold of her. All calls go directly to a prerecorded voicemail asking you to email her. She camils to help 24/7 but it's been 3 days and I haven't heard anything back from her.

This doc has a lot to learn

Horrible doctor. One would do better with reading THE MOOD CURE book by Ross (Amazon) and The Longevity Paradox by Gundry. Her listening and then trying to make you take multiple choice like style answering for her computer is obnoxious as her having to cite her books for everything since she is incompetent. She charges more even for the 2nd appointment that was supposed to be a half hour. When she tried to cut it drastically short I mentioned it. Then she said THEY just put that on the website about 30 minutes long and ranted like a political about how she tries to be competitive with her pricing for noninsured. I had paid her over $400 and she was trying to keep that 2nd appmt 15 minutes instead of 30. She knew I was furious and then in the hallways wined like Miss Piggy with her shoulders shrugged and said "SOR-RY" like a 3 year old. It was pathetic. Read the Mood cure, Dr. Gundry and Dr. Axe's books, and exercise daily and with the supps in the mood cure you'll do far… better as will your bank account avoiding Ramsey!

I've had pretty severe anxiety for a large portion of my adult life and I've seen many doctors over the years, but I've done the absolute best under Dr. Ramsey's care. I've been a patient of hers for several years and she seems to have a unique understanding of anxiety, how it impacts our quality of life, and which medications will yield the best results. As a result, I finally have a real sense of normalcy in my life. Additionally, her new office is very calm and relaxing, which is always appreciated. I highly recommend Dr. Ramsey to anyone who is tired of suffering.

Mrs. Ramsey, is a very kind doctor who explains everything to me step by step, listens me carefully and answers my needs. Mrs. Ramsey is very down to earth and her service in her profession is very personalized which is the reason I am writing this review, if you are looking for a doctor who is personable, professional and who does her job with a smile, she is the one for you, too. Thank you Dr. Ramsey!

Dr. Ramsey is an extremely caring and compassionate care provider who listens to your issues and provides appropriate solutions. She discusses various options and is very patient especially in extreme or unusual cases that a person is going through. I would recommend Dr. Ramsey to anyone and would love to continue going to her.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Ramsey. The wait times in the office are minimal. She is so easy to talk to and express your self. She has been a game changer in my way of life and before I saw her for the first time, I did not even know that I needed help. I was advised to try this office, but was reluctant to see a Psychiatrist. Who wants to admit that they need to see one. My life after seeing her for almost a year is much better. Thank you Dr. Ramsey.
